Cairn is offered by The Brooklyn App Company ("we," "us," "our"), based in Brooklyn, New York.

2. Scope

This policy covers your use of cairn.services and any information you send when you request a demo or contact us. If we later begin a demo, pilot, or subscription with you under a separate agreement, additional product and contractual terms will cover that relationship.

3. Information we collect

• Standard website and security data from our hosting provider — such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, referrer, approximate region, and timing.
• Information you choose to send us — such as your name, work email, company, role, and any message — when you request a demo or write to us.

The site self-hosts its fonts and does not run advertising, cross-site trackers, or analytics cookies.

4. How we use information

• Operate, secure, and improve the website.
• Review and respond to demo requests and other messages.
• Communicate about Cairn, pilots, and product fit.
• Protect against abuse, fraud, or misuse.
• Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information.
• We don't share your contact details for third-party marketing.
• We don't use ad-tech or cross-site advertising trackers on this site.
• We don't publish your request or private correspondence.
• We don't ask for confidential or regulated material through this site.

6. How information is shared

We share information only as needed to run the site and respond to you — currently our hosting and delivery provider (Cloudflare) and the email provider used when you message us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or systems. We don't sell your data.

7. Data retention

We keep website logs for as long as reasonably needed for operations, security, and troubleshooting, and we keep demo requests and related notes for as long as needed to follow up and maintain business and legal records. To have information you sent us deleted, email hello@cairn.services.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to business need. No system is perfectly secure, but we take security seriously.

9. Your rights and choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you've shared by emailing hello@cairn.services. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA. If you're outside the United States, note that your information may be processed in the United States.

10. Children's privacy

Cairn is a business product, is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
